Grilled Curry Burgers

Add some international flair to your grilling experience with these tender and flavorful burgers.

2 tablespoons Natural Grocers® Brand Organic Coconut Aminos
1 tablespoon organic jarred ginger or a 1x1-inch piece of fresh organic ginger, finely grated
1 organic garlic clove, minced or pressed
1 pound ground 100% grassfed beef
Natural Grocers Brand Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for greasing grill
4 burger buns of choice
4 organic lettuce leaves
4 thick slices organic tomato
Natural Grocers Brand Bulk seasonings
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
1⁄2 teaspoon Ground Tumeric
1 teaspoon Real Salt
Optional burger toppings

1. Preheat grill.

2. Combine coconut aminos, ginger, garlic, curry, turmeric and salt in a medium bowl. Add the ground beef and gently mix together with hands, making sure to not overwork the meat. Form into four equal-sized patties, about ½-inch thick. 

3. Reduce the heat on the grill to medium. Lightly grease grill rack with olive oil and gently place the burgers on the rack. Grill on first side for 4-6 minutes.

4. Carefully flip the burgers and cook on the second side for about 4-5 minutes, or until burgers are cooked through. 

5. Toast the buns and serve immediately with toppings of choice.
