Easy Gingerbread Nut Butter Bites

For the truffles
3 tablespoons Natural Grocers® Brand Fresh-Ground Almond Butter
2 teaspoons molasses
2 tablespoons dairy-free milk of choice
Natural Grocers Brand Bulk
3⁄4 cup Almond Flour
2 tablespoons Organic Coconut Sugar
3⁄4 teaspoon Organic Ground Ginger
1⁄2 teaspoon Organic Cinnamon
1⁄8 teaspoon Real Salt
1⁄8 teaspoon Organic Ground Allspice
1⁄8 teaspoon Organic Ground Cloves
For the glaze
1⁄4 cup powdered sugar, or confectioner sugar substitute (such as Swerve® or monk fruit)
1⁄2 teaspoon organic lemon zest
1 tablespoon organic lemon juice

1. Combine almond butter, molasses, milk, almond flour, sugar, and spices in a large bowl and stir until well combined.

2. Using a teaspoon, scoop out 12 even portions and roll into balls. Place the balls onto a parchment-lined plate and place in freezer for 15 minutes.

3. While the truffles are freezing, mix the powdered sugar, lemon zest, and juice.

4. Remove the truffles from the freezer and top each with a drizzle of the lemon glaze.

5. Serve immediately, or store in the freezer for up to three months.
