Chocolate Cherry Clusters

These sweet, crunchy bites have a hidden nutritional secret: sunflower seeds! With plenty of fiber, vitamins, protein, and healthy fat, sunflower seeds add a dose of nutrient density, and when combined with chocolate, whole oat cereal, dried cherries, and coconut, they create a perfect bite-sized treat.

1 cup Natural Grocers® Brand Bulk Organic Fair Trade Semisweet Chocolate Chips
4 tablespoons Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Fine Shredded Coconut
4 tablespoons Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Sunflower Seeds
1⁄3 cup Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Unsweetened Red Tart Cherries, chopped
2 cups Natural Grocers Brand Organic Gluten Free Honey Nut O’s
flaky salt for sprinkling

1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Gently melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler, then stir in the coconut, sunflower seeds, and cherries. Once mixed, stir in the cereal and combine to evenly coat.

3. Using a tablespoon, make mounds onto the parchment paper. Sprinkle each mound with a little flaky salt and place the baking sheet in the refrigerator. Chill until it is no longer sticky to the touch, about 15 minutes.

4. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator to prevent melting.
