This oh-so-easy Organic Miso Caramel Sauce recipe is to die for! It is perfect for dipping fresh fruit, topping ice cream or drizzling over flourless chocolate cake! Not familiar with miso? It is a traditional Japanese seasoning most used in savory soups, but is also used in sauces, dressings and spreads. Made through fermenting soybeans with salt and koji, the flavor is described as salty, savory, earthy and fruity. The complex flavor-profile of miso makes it a wonderful addition for making this healthier version of a classic caramel sauce.
Chorizo paired with white beans is a traditional dish in Spain and other parts of the Mediterranean. It is quick and easy, warm and cozy, and affordable—the kind of meal perfect for a weeknight!
Who doesn’t love a good Parmesan crust? In a vegan twist, we’ve coated thick slices of cauliflower with “Parm” and airy panko for a delectable crunch on top of roasted goodness. Paired with creamy beans and saucy tomatoes (prepared Mediterranean style), you won’t have much for leftovers once everyone takes a bite. Even better? This easy recipe comes together quickly, with minimal effort.
Chicken wings are a great snack for watching the big game, but they can also be a fun dinner option. We’ve got three tasty options to spice up your traditional wings: sticky Southern BBQ, luscious Parmesan garlic, and a crunchy-spicy dry rub. Don’t want to mess with the oven? No problem! Throw those sauced wings into a slow cooker and forget about them for a few hours. For our meatless friends, see our suggestions below for a cauliflower alternative.
This tapenade is a simple and delicious way to spice up your regular healthy meals that may have become a little boring. Mix it with pasta and olive oil for a quick family dinner; use it to top chicken, fish, steak, or tempeh; try it as a pizza topping; mix it into your favorite hummus or spread it on a sandwich; or thin it out with a little more olive oil and some lemon juice for a flavorful salad dressing. The sky’s the limit! And although the anchovies can be left out, don’t let them scare you—they add a boost of savory umami without a fishy flavor.
