plain yogurt (substitute dairy-free yogurt for vegan and dairy-free version)

organic strawberries, rinsed, stems removed, and sliced
Combine the raspberries and sugar in a small bowl and stir and mash to draw out the juices to create a raspberry syrup.
Set up the remaining ingredients in an assembly line and have four (10-ounce) glasses or bowls ready for making the parfaits.
In the bottom of each glass or bowl, add 3 tablespoons granola, on top of the granola add ¼ cup yogurt, and top the yogurt with berries. Repeat layers, starting with the granola, followed by yogurt, and then berries. Top each with the raspberry syrup and serve immediately. Note: If fresh berries are not available, you may substitute thawed frozen berries.
