Green Tea Simple Syrup

Hot summer weather calls for cool summer drinks, but how about something that not only tastes deliciously refreshing, but is good4u, too?! Enter green tea simple syrup and three fun ways to use it. Don’t stop here though, add green tea simple syrup to sparkling mineral water for a quick pick-me-up, to cocktails, and even drizzled in yogurt or over pancakes.
1 ½ cups
1 cup water
5 green tea bags
1 cup Natural Grocers® Brand Raw and Unfiltered Clover Honey

Heat the water and green tea until simmering in a small saucepan, and continue to simmer gently for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and steep for 5 to 10 more minutes. Squeeze tea bags out and discard them. Add the honey and mix well. Store the syrup in a glass container with a tight-fitting lid in the refrigerator until ready to use.
